DESCRIPTION

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Proactively calls on prospective customers in a given territory. (60 outbound calls per day)
  • Refers larger opportunities to the strategic account managers for account ownership, and customer visits.
  • Works with strategic account manager/ Sales director to ensure that the overall territory Quota is achieved.
  • Consistently achieves monthly targeted sales metrics as assigned by management (i.e. sales quota, recommended number of outbound calls, quotes, etc)
  • Places outbound phone calls to customers that come to us by way of: Call lists, AB&R customer database. Proactive prospecting in given territory.
  • Knowledgeable in a customer-centric, consultative selling approach
  • Develops and maintains professional relationships with corporate level information technology, operations, manufacturing and production personnel as well as those in purchasing.
  • Tenaciously uncovers system integration opportunities within a variety of different types of customers.
  • Maintains excellent working relationships with strategic manufactures representatives and coordinate customer visits with strategic account manager when appropriate.
  • Enters new customer account information as well as updates existing customer records into company’s GoldMine CRM database.
  • Prepares custom proposals for total solutions that improve the customers identified problems, issues or needs including estimated delivery and installation schedules.
  • Develops and delivers effective presentations on AB&R’s core competencies as well any specialized total solution.
  • Coordinates customer training and post-sales services when applicable.
  • Investigates and remains accountable for resolving customer problems and technical issues.


QUALIFICATIONS
  • Make up to 60 outbound calls per day
  • Strong aptitude for solution focused sales of software, equipment and services
  • Well organized
  • High School Diploma with some college
  • Two years progressive selling experience, preferably in an outbound call center
