American Barcode and RFID Appoints Dino Farfante as President and COO

Phoenix, May 11, 2007 – American Barcode and RFID Inc. (AB&R) announced today that Dino Farfante has joined the Company as President and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Farfante was formerly President of Insight Direct Worldwide and has been a Business Partner and Member of the Board of Directors of AB&R since May of 2006.

“Dino’s extensive experience in managing the growth of large organizations, leading proactive sales and marketing models and executing strategic initiatives will significantly strengthen AB&R’s Management Team,” said Michael Stryczek, who will continue his roll as Chief Executive Officer. “Over the last year we have benefited greatly from Dino’s advice and guidance as a board member and we are excited to have him actively involved in a leadership roll on a day-to-day basis.”

During his 9 years at Insight, Mr. Farfante grew sales from $400 million to over $3 Billion. Immediately prior to joining Insight, Dino spent 10 years at Merisel, a computer hardware and software technology distributor, based in El Segundo, CA where he held progressively-responsible sales and operational positions including serving as Vice President of Sales and Operations. Dino is a graduate of the University of Florida with a degree in Computer Engineering.
