ABC Scan Operator Rounds
ABC Rounds is a specific version of ABC Scan. It has all the functionality of ABC Scan but is tailored specifically for performing inspections and capturing measurements. The application contains preset titles and pre-configuration. The application guides the user through the inspection process.
The solution consists of a “Barcode Enabled - Mobile Device” application used to collect the data and a “PC Application” used to organize and report back the data.

Below is a sample of the ABC Scan desktop application. This screen is used to setup inspection points that are associated with a round (i.e. location).
Each inspection point contains a validation range for the data being captured during an inspection. For example: temperature range. If the user enters a value outside the range, they will be warned. Upon syncing the mobile device to the desktop application, a ‘Discrepancy Report’ will print for any inspection points whose values were outside their specific range.

After the user selects the round, the application displays the inspection points associated with the round, and the order in which the inspection should be performed. The user scans the inspection point and enters a value related to the equipment being tested. Validation is performed on the value entered. Next, information related to the equipment is displayed for confirmation.
