Mobile team members are empowered by having access to information as if they were in the office, enabling them to make efficient and accurate decisions.
The convergence of traditional rugged mobile data collection devices and the capabilities of the Worldwide Area Network (WAN) have brought the office to the field.
How the System Works
Let's take a look at a typical transaction...
1) Orders are placed via the online web portal
2) The order request is opened on the field team member's mobile device
3) The team member in the field is able to use the turn-by-turn direction functions to get to the next opportnity
4) The field team member can easily read the work order or instructions sent to the mobile device
5) The field team member has the ability to check inventory for the mobile device at the customer locations to efficiently complete the transaction
6) The field team member is able to add parts, services, or components to the invoice or work order directly on the mobile device
7) The customer's signature is captured at the point of the transaction to confirm the services perfromed, and a reciept can be generated with a mobile printer on site
8) Dispatch can now check the customer status and have a record of all tranactions for the day, along with the next opportunity for dispatch
9) The invoice is then either mailed or emailed out immediatley to insure prompt payment
