After investing in a card printer, it is important to have the support you
need in the event technical issues arise. Although we recommend that you have
your card printer serviced on a yearly basis for basic product sustainability.
There are other options available.
AB&R Depot Service Agreements Organizations can reduce the cost of printer downtime, due to lost productivity
and unbudgeted repair costs by selecting an AB&R Card Depot service agreement.
Depot service agreements for card printers allow organizations to:
1. Plan and budget annual service needs
• Downtime repair charges are at a minimum or non-existent with your AB&R
service agreement that locks in your repair price and guarantees your repair
time.
• POs cost between $40 and $98 to create, manage, and fulfill, plus the cost of
the PO and time taken by administration to produce the P.O.
2. Reduce the time & materials charges associated with out-of-service
printers and increase up-time with your AB&R service agreement.
Hot Swap Printer downtime can also be reduced by adding on a Hot Swap Loaner to your AB&R
service agreement, which provides overnight shipment of a loaner printer while
your card printer is being repaired.

Hot Spare Repair This option provides a loaner ("spare") printer to be shipped over-night
priority delivery from AB&R the same business day, if the client request is
received before 12:00 noon Arizona time, M-F. Once the "spare" unit is received
simply return the failed unit to AB&R for repair. Once your card printer is
repaired, we ship it back to you then you return the loaner to us. Simple, fast

AB&R offers our non-contract time & materials depot repair service for those
clients who have plenty of spares on hand and can wait up to ten business days
for repair. Our time & materials depot repair rate is $129.00 per hour (one hour
